In this video, I tested the Seresto Flea and Tick collar on my Rottweiler, Sobek. After a few days, I can say I’m quite satisfied with the flea control collar. It removed fleas and ticks within a couple of days of putting it on. It fits well around my dog’s collar, which measures about 25 inches. (If you can comfortably put two fingers between your dog and the collar, then you know it fits well.)

The collar features ridges to keep it in place, buckles, and reflector lights. The collar has an 8-month life cycle. However, if your dog swims or is bathed more often, then it’ll probably only last for 5 months.

Before using Seresto Flea and Tick collar, I was using Frontline Plus on my Rottie. I applied the topical flea control product every 30 days, as instructed, but my dog still had fleas. I’ve also used natural products, such as cedar oil, but that was no longer keeping fleas and ticks off my dog. That’s when I decided to give flea collars a try. What I like about flea collars is the fact I can take them off should my dog experience a reaction to it.
