Three Army dogs have died after apparently being poisoned by a flea treatment.

The Ministry of Defence is investigating amid reports 18 dogs were wrongly fed the toxic substance.

But it has denied claims another dog died in Afghanistan from heat exhaustion while it was muzzled, and says it takes the welfare of military working dogs very seriously.
