Hope for Paws was alerted about a poor dog who had been living on the streets of Los Angeles all his life. They chased him as he began running into a busy intersection, they had to use a snare to catch him. Since he’s never had a loving touch from a human before, it took some time for him to trust his rescuers. They named him Benji and brought him to get cleaned up, his fur was entirely matter and covered with ticks and fleas. It took three hours of grooming and the dog was unrecognizable.
